"My very ill father had alister do some welding on his 2010 Toyota Hilux we supplied all the genuine Toyota parts to have welded in and he told me that he had descaled the chassis of the jeep to check that there was no other rotten parts on it he had the jeep for over 6 months and when I when to collect the jeep I found that he had only fitted one crossmember To the chassis and he had “REPAIRED” the other one he was also told that any other damage found that it was to be repaired or replaced but when I checked the jeep I found that he had filled the bad bits in the other crossmember which he was supposed to replace with silicone and had covered the chassis and all the wheels on the jeep along with all the chrome and paint work with some type of crappy “UNDERSEALER” and now not even a year later the jeep is now in with some one having over £5000 pounds worth of welding done after paying this clown over £1000 to have it done last time so I would not recommend this man to repair a shoe box let alone a car"

"Done work previously for me which dispite the high cost I was content.the last time I used him he came out to look at my car gave me a estimate to get it done and booked car in ,he rang me night before to rearrange as something came up, subsequently rebooked again, was put off and again and again after excuse after excuse , promise after promise, I ended up having to go elsewhere which I had to wait on and my car had to go off the road all because he kept me hanging for so long cause MOT and tax to run out. All he had to say was ' I don't want the job' will never be back and have recommended elsewhere to others. Also if you need a neat weld don't go here his welding is a bit agricultural."

"I left my vehicle here for welding repairs, but I was extremely disappointed with the quality of work. After collecting the vehicle, I noticed the areas worked on looked rough, but I didn’t say anything at the time. However During a recent checkover, It was discovered that areas I paid to have welded were instead filled with body filler, and the welds that had been done were rough and unfinished. This meant I had to take the vehicle to another welder, who corrected the work properly and even charged less. When the vehicle was returned, it was also dirty, and some interior parts had been disconnected. I understand disconnecting a battery is standard procedure, but other components should not have been removed unnecessarily. Although this work was carried out some time ago and staffing may have changed, I felt it necessary to leave this review following the recent discovery. My experience reflects poor workmanship and a lack of attention to detail. I would not recommend this business based on the service I personally have received."

"My 18 years old Rav4 failed MOT for badly rusted chassis. MOT failure note: "(6) Defects Major defect- Chassis Member; rusteaten / holed; Rear; Offside rear. FRONT OFF BACK AXLE" Alistair booked me for the next day and did the pre MOT welding needed. The protective spray coating must be applied after the MOT, so I brought the car back, and the whole chassis spray underneath was done in just 30 minutes. £540 isn't a pocket money but is well priced for the amount of work done needed to bring my old horse back to life.
